2012 WHITETAIL HUNTS

Our Mission Statement is for you to have a safe enjoyable hunting trip with family and/or friends.

We manage over 5,000 acres of deer and turkey hunting property in Schuyler Co.,IL. We are located between Brown, Pike, Adams, McDonough, and Fulton Co., between the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers - right in the middle of the "Golden Triangle".

All farms have corn and/or soybeans on or bordering them. There are lots of big timber, brushy draws, CREP, CRP and overgrown pastures. These farms have been managed for at least 5 years. We are doing a very limited number of 7 - day archery deer hunts and 7 - day archery/muzzleloader and archery/shotgun combo hunts.

We will be adding several additional acres of food plots. Products will be from the Whitetail Institute, Biologic and Tecomate. We found a 190 class typical on one of these farms a couple of years ago. 165 ince, 168 inch, 170 inch, and 187 inch deer were killed on these properties the last 5 years.

All farms are a 5 to 15 minute drive from food and lodging. There is a local meat processor nearby. These hunts will be semi-guided. We will show your group the farm or farms you will be hunting the day before the hunt begins, so you have time to put your stands up the day before you start hunting. We will also give each of you aerial photos of the farm with the boundaries marked.

You will need to bring your own stands. Climbing, ladder stands and ground blinds work the best.

We will show you where to park your vehicles. All hunters must wear a fall restraint devise. (No safety harness - no hunt, period.) There is a 140" minimum on bucks, but take all the does you have permits for.

Everyone in each group must sign a liability release. No ATV's are allowed, but trucks can be used to retrieve deer. It will be up to each hunter to get the proper tags and licenses.

We will personally make sure the hunting pressure at each farm stays at a very minimum. Each farm will be rested more than it is hunted throughout the season.
